Personal Academy is designed to WCAG 2.1 Level AA: keyboard-navigable interactive block elements, text contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1, ARIA landmarks, screen reader support for blind and low-vision learners, and prefers-reduced-motion CSS support. An independent accessibility audit has not been done yet; known gaps are listed in our platform audit and are being worked through.
1. Our Commitment to Universal Learning Access
At Personal Academy, we believe digital learning must be accessible to every employee regardless of physical or cognitive ability. An inaccessible learning platform is disqualifying in modern corporate education. We design our platform and public surfaces to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA; we do not claim certified conformance until an independent audit says so.
2. Technical Conformance Measures
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive components (menus, accordions, modals, and quiz options) are fully operable via standard keyboard controls with visible focus rings.
- Screen Reader Optimization: Proper semantic HTML structure, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive text alternatives for all informational icons and diagrams.
- Contrast & Typography: Text and visual indicators maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their backgrounds for standard body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Reduced Motion Support: Respects the user's `prefers-reduced-motion` operating system preferences, disabling non-essential animations.
3. Continuous Auditing and Feedback Contact
